Rolling road - October 17th

Ive known of this place for a while as its only down the road from me.

I know this isnt far for some people so thought maybe some of you would be interested in this

Rolling road day
We are able to hold full dedicated days for clubs and organisations.
Each car is given a power run (see above for description) for £25 (subject to 10 cars minimum)

If you wish to book, please call us to check for availability and to make a reservation.

Thats seems like a good deal to me and ive often wondered what the car is producing power wise.

This is whats on offer

Power run
Your car is given 2 or 3 runs, and a power/torque graph is produced and printed out for you to take away.
Any potential problems, faults, or future modifcations can then be discussed with the operator.

So maybe if a group of us were interested in this i could get an exact price and should be relatively cheep for what it is. But as it says if we could get 10+ it would only be £25 each

Just to Project Puma members at first, but if we cant get enough from here then we will need more people.

I got a couple friends who are interested too, but they going to have to wait and see the response on here first

Im going to contact them tommorow, find out prices and dates etc. But if there is a bit of interest in it ill choose a date that suites the most amount of people

I expect it to be down since it's nearly 10 years old etc.

I like mine for reasons other than power

Im interested in advice ect and allways wanted one of those printouts and curious like red to know. Maybe get it cheeper with more of us, but like Dal says £25 for a day out aint too bad

Will be interesting to see how age, mods etc will effect things

Ill be happy with 100bhp not happy if its less, 99bhp and ill be p1$$ed off!!

I found with my puma before i had all the engine work done i got it rolling roaded and with a air filter & exhaust it was doing 127bhp, i think if there regularly serviced and certain parts cleaned & maintained i don't think you lose to much!

Judging by the decent amount of poke my Puma seems to have, it shouldn't have deteriorated to the point that it has lost too much.

As to the R.R at JamSport.... well I am only a short hop down the road, so am tentatively interested. {Although I should put some spare time looking into the Puma rally driving session thing I have mentioned}.

But yeah.. this could be a useful tool to highlight areas to sort, or beef up.
Although I may end up changing to a different Puma in a few months... decisions, decisions...
