Hear is a game i was almost literally counting the days down until its release i absolutly loved the 1st one on 360 with its over the top driving controls and huge map so the day of launch came i booked the day off work and waited outside game for 15min i paid £44.95 cos it was the day of launch got it home put the disc in all loads up great opening story nice bit of fun i spend an hr or 2 getting through the initials story (to my absolute delight using the Lotus Esprit S2 one of may fav cars of all time alough the was the choice of a 1965 Mustang or Lancia Beta) and way alls going great im now in free roam mode on th island of Ibiza its absoultly huge gfx arent amazing but the not half bad considering considering the scale of the map and when you learn this is just map 1 of 2 and the second one is Hawaii which is twice the size youd be forgive. For this this is one very speical game so why the biggest mistake ever i hear you say well this is as good as things got i now turn the game of to go get lunch came back half hour later turned on the xbox get to the main menu press load and absolutly nothing it just loads and loads and loads i think thats wierd so i restart still nothing now i begin to worry ive somehow damaged the disc but before i panic i though ill check the forums and low and behold its happening to everyone within the hr we discover that because the game is always online its function is based on Atari's servers which have all crashed another hr goes by and work gets around that if you disconnect for xbox live the game works... Great now i can get on with the strory mode. So it takes Atari 2 days to fix the server and now you can play online great my game got better again so i put in the free codes i got with the game for access to and in game Casino and a free exclusove Bugattii Vayron Super Sport ... What a shock i go in game and neither have worked once again word gets around if you go offline you can get both but pardon me for being predantic but how am i supposed to play an online casino against other players offline???? Anyway Atari eventually fix this so (bare in mind i now have well over 30hr in game time and have discovered a lot of what is to be discovered i go onto the casino have a great time playing slots, poker, ect anyway spend a good couple of hrs On this save the game and get some sleep next day i get home from work and plan on going on for an hr so go to load game up and "your save game has been corrupted press x tp retry or o to cancel"i always wait to saving is finished so i once again went on the forums and youll never guess... "Due to Atari server issues many users are reporting save game corruption upon leaving the casino we recommend you do not delete your save file as we may be able to fix this in the upcoming patch" so great i cant play the game at all without starting again which i really dont want to do so i discover the patch is set for release in 3 days so i wait as itll take me at least that to get back to the point im at on the game website they even posted a count down until patch release the time comes and goes and guess what still no patch it had now been 2 days since the patch was due out and all there site says is that they are nagotiating with microsoft about the patch relsease so the bottom of it is ive had a game i paid £45 for amd havent been able to play for most of the time ive owned it put sime despite the fact Atari have made an amazing game Do Not i repeate Do Not buy it youll never be able to play it ive lost patients and am trading the game in for store credit today before its worth nothing
