I picked up a Sportex 4-2-1 manifold cheap, questions is do I wrap it or not?
I've heard loads of horror story's but haven't seen any actual evidence.
I'm not doubting anyone but if someone can give their own personal experience on the subject (rather than the common "my M8 says) it would be nice

I personally had a Sierra manifold wrapped for a few years, no damage to it (it was a strange colour afterwards though :p )

I still need to show you that photo of mine  I'm doing a project update tonight so will remember

Hole was bigger than 50 pence piece, 2 if not 3 pipes had cracked, wrap held moister in and rusted the mild steel while causing intense heat spots with helped its destruction.

Nice :-(

Was it a daily drive? or just occasional use? Whats the climate like where you are?

Just occasional but it was never garaged (never had one) it was also fully painted in 1200c "Heatproof" <_< Silver Rustoleum paint (although haven't a clue what happened there)

I fitted the manifold today, I decided against wrapping it to air on the side of caution.
The car is a daily drive in a dry (ish) climate not in the UK :p It might have been OK, but not worth the hassle to find out
