what clutch?

Hi all, new to the forum,
Doing a 1.7 puma conversion on my fiesta zetec-s,
What clutch do you recommend? Ive heard about using the focus 1.8? Or better sticking to a puma clutch?

No need for skipping the puma clutch. It is strong plenty enough and offers excellent pedal feel

Is it better than the focus 220mm clutch? Car will be used for occasional track use with pretty much standard power

I can't comment on that as I never had a focus clutch fitted to it, but remember there were some complaints regarding the pedal feel (waaay to soft with a focus one)

Ford do a reconditioned clutch kit for the puma still. It looks pretty good although it is a backorder thing typically from germany.
But it has a surcharge.
