    A small project

Over the summer we decided we HAD to sort out the rusty arches (and sills and odd rust spots) again! We are not experts but went mad, grinding and treating the rust. Then filling, sanding (and more sanding) until eventually we were ready to prime, paint and top coat. Not perfect but pretty...

    washer jets not working

Can anyone help? I have been having intermittent trouble with my washer jets. Most of the time they work fine, but then for a short (or longer time) they just stop. I can't hear the motor or get any water. I do have plenty of screenwash in the system. Last time it lasted for 2 days and then...

    Check your driving licence!

Warning - could cost you £1000 fine! I found the following link that I thought might be useful. Apparently, when the new picture driving licences were issued they have a time limit of 10 years. You may or not be aware of this. I have 3 years left on mine but some people who got them early...

    screen washers not working!

Just wondered if anyone could make suggestions before I start probing deeper. My wipers work fine but there is no wash coming through or the noise you hear when it works, just the wipers - and yes I do have wash in the bottle! I'm guessing it could be a fuse?? any suggestions welcomed. :D

    Won't start!

Have tried to start her up this morning and just hearing a clicking - guess that is the sparks. Battery seems fine and have fuel - could it be the starter motor? Is there anything I could try before calling the AA?

    Miserable!

Whilst out on the A1 today I passed 3 Pumas - and I waved. All driven by females and not one of them waved or even smiled - and I had let one of 'em out of the slip road too!!

GOOD: Steve Breed, Ramsey Forty Foot, Cambs.

I always get work done on mine at Steve Breed's garage, Ramsey Forty Foot, Cambs. They are great engineers. Take good care of the car and don't charge the earth. Steve worked for many years at a Ford garage and knows the cars well. He has all the tools for difficult jobs (cam belt being...

EDIT : Cambridgeshire meet - Sunday 2nd March

Just fishing to see who might be up for a meet in the area some time in Feb? Not sure about a route or anything like that yet, but thought you could come to mine for a roast dinner before a drive somewhere? Would have to be a Saturday or Sunday. Would mean coming to Ramsey first (bumpy roads...

    Leather restorer

When I got my Kat, she had an awful steering wheel. The leather was sticky and peeling badly (small bits!) I bought some Nikwax leather restorer and it has done a great job. I use it also on the backs of the chairs. Brings it up nicely. Not a lot of work to do either. Spray it on to the...
