Hi all, Just wondering if anyone can help. My 1.7 Puma started and immediately cut out. It then refused to start :-( it turns over but doesn't want to catch. Any help appreciated. Alex

Long term member, don't often have the time to post. My black 2001 is looking a bit tatty. It's got several knocks on it but I still love it. My mate is a retired Ford engineer and loves these cars, so he often finds them and can do them up for a fraction of the price it would cost the average...

The motor was being used on 10W40 oil but my mechanic friend changed it to 5W30 for me. I didn't think it was the best thing to do but his Ford knowledge is unbeatable so I left him to it! I'm aiming for 150,000 at least. I'm doing my best to look after it so only time will tell :grin:

I can't help with contacts for installing the conversion but that does sound awesome, like a 1.7 with more ooomph! does the K20 weigh anymore than the 1.7? because that could upset the handling?

Is it just me that is scanning Google every day to see if there's any news? I was very very tempted to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S2 at the weekend but the rumors about iPhone 5 are increasing every day towards an October launch date, I hope so!

Has the higher mileage one been serviced regularly, well looked after etc?
