    Puma Thunder Register

I bought DA51 UFR magnum grey on the 14th December 2019. No obvious rust around wheel arches, but I think it has had a rear end repair or respray. The bumper is a slightly different shade of grey. There is evidence of respray around the tailgate window seal. So far, I haven't had chance for a...

    Average age for Frp owners?

I just converted a standard 1.7 to FRP engine, using it for rallying. Alas spent quite a lot getting it roadworthy, didn't have time to do the work myself, so a young thing would have been cheaper - short term ;)

    The ultimate FRP repair bill

Makes me think "Good Job Too" they were rip-off merchants compared to Arriva Ford that was on the same site prior to them. I needed rear shoes on my 1.7 some years ago now: they want £100 to fit them, got them done at Nortree for £45 - stayed with Nortree ever since.... :-) Mike

Pirelli PZero NERO vs Goodyear F1

I cannot speak for the Pirellis. I use Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3, not noisy - great grip in dry and wet. I have them on my 1.7 (195/50 R15) and my FRP (215/40 R17). Cannot recommend them too much - great tyres. Mike

    Damn Potholes!!!!

I think you will find that you have flat spotted a front wheel on the inner edge - low profile tyres plus negative camber and hitting a pot-hole have done in several of my wheels. Good news: they can be straightened in all but the most sever damage cases. I recently had 2 FRP wheels repaired...

    Tyre recommendation?

I can't get on it either! Try googling them to find a phone number... It worked before Christmas. Yes! Four tyres, my local dealer quoted £370 fitted for them to supply them. I tried getting some 195/50 R15 Goodyear GS D3s for my silver 1.7 Puma today - virtually none anywhere in the country...

Hi, I've just bought some Goodyear F1 GS D3s for my FRP, got them from http://www.tripleninetyres.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for £270 delivered (not including fitting) - not yet got them on the FRP, waiting the return of painted wheels. I've used these tyres on my 1.7...
