    Noisy on full lock

After moving drive shaft slightly out of the box (not removing gaiter) to do some suspension work it seems to be noisy on full lock. I understand this might be the inner CV joint making the noise. Does anyone have any idea on how to trouble shoot / fix this? cheers

    Standard tyre pressures

Mentioning tyre pressure on the MPG thread has made me wonder what you guys advise for the best handling on a standard 1.7? Standard side-wall height as well. I read somewhere Rear 29 Front 34. In an effort to save some cash in fuel I have upped these recently to R32 F36 (not sure the saving...

This post is just a warning as to what a bugger they are to remove and for the extra cost...

Finished working on rear drum to sort out a dodgy handbrake last night and took her for a test drive. Noticed the backlit dash was not lit (gauges still working) and then got flagged down and told rear lights not working, both of them. reverse light works, both rear indicators work, brake...

New to forum - got an odd problem

Hi, Had my silver ’99 1.7 for about a year now, freebie off my sis as she was only quoted £400 when she went to trade it in but had too much love for it to let it go that way. I have invested a nearly a grand on it though so not exactly free but that should get me through this year’s MOT so...
