anyone tried this size?

just switched to 205 45 16 and feels a bit firm over potholes etc was hoping for a bit more squige!

The problem with 205/50/16 is that they have a diameter of 61.14cm.
The OEM 195/50/15 have 57.6cm and 205/45/16 have 59.1cm.

So 205/45/16 are 2.6% larger in diameter than stock and 205/50/16 6.2% larger. That has as a result that your total gear ratio becomes 6.2% longer which is quite a big difference. The car probably will feel slower.
