Morning :)

My Puma came with a standard fit radio/cassette. I've just brought a 6 cd autochanger which we were going 2 fit today but we r now not sure where 2 put it. By the looks of it, it can either go under the seat or in the boot. Anyone fitted one?? If so, where would be best to put it??

Also, any pics 2 help us novicies??

How long is the lead? Will it reach into the boot? I think they are fitted under the passenger seat as standard or possibly in the boot area.

If the cable isn't long enough to fit to the boot then that's answered where to put it ;)

Else it's really your preference, do you want to lean under the seat when stationary to change the loader or do you want to open the boot?

And if you want 7 discs you could straight swap your tape unit over for the 6000 series single slot loader :D

Or.. if you want 12 you could straight swap it for the 6006 unit which takes 6 discs although notoriously unreliable.

Cheers Red but if i go tell my dad i want a 12 disc changer, i think he WILL kill me lol :-D

No no you miss the point you can replace your tape deck for a cd version which you can slot 6 into :D you can then connect it to your existing changer to grand sum 12 discs!

And no problem!!

Just thought i'd put some pics of it on here...
