Engine swapp: the best choice ?

Hello,

I'm thinking about a possible engine swapp on my Puma ...
the avalaibility of a lot of part for the 1.7 is a problem is France.

what is the best choice for an road use ??

my main wish I want to keep the original equipment:
power steering, Ac, ...

and a engine management with which I can have MOT

an 2.0 duratec is a good choice ?
or an 1.6 ecoboost ?

or an other choice ???

I don't think I've read about anyone trying the 1.6 Ecoboost. The Duratec has definitely been done before so at least there's some information about it, I believe this is what [ref]PumaNoob[/ref] is running albeit 2.3l but I can't answer any questions as to how this affects the other equipment.
