Joining the ford puma gang :P

Hi every1,

Just bought a silver ford puma 1.4 as my first car and so far so good!

Went all the way from birmingham to leeds and managed to get hold of it for 400! everything looks good except the heater which sometimes just comes on automatically even though its on cold (shame winters over ).

Welcome to the fold!! Your heater problem will probably be either the heater control valve (HCV) or the heater control panel (HCP)

As Tom said its probably HCV or HCP, common fault on the puma, I've been through about 3 :lol: cheap and easy fix though

I'm surprised nobody took the opportunity to say not to buy a cheap Ebay heater valve. Buy a Ford one which should be around £40 give or take a bit.

Thanks for the advice, @SENATEpumA im strictly against ebay parts ill deffo go genuine.
