Hi all, MOT time for my Puma next month, may wait til after Christmas due to a few things id like to resolve, which are; oil leak from rocker, surface rust areas on front wings, rear brake line was advisory last year, and i've also been told that the rear A/R/B link arm bushes are gone too, which have lasted shy of a year? My main concearn though is ABS pump possibly on way out? I'll expand...
The brake pedal vibrates and a funny noise occurs, kind of like a grinding, with no light on dash. Has started doing it now while driving at speed but started doing it only at slow speed. Once the brake pedal has finished doing it's thing and the noise stops, the ABS and TC warning light appears. I've read on here about checking the sensors with a multimeter and shall give that a go, but if anyone else has had this issue or can point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.
I also have an extremely bad pull to the left, caused more than likely by the pot hole I hit back along. The bang buckled my front rim and tyre went down soon after, have I likely damaged steering arm? I have since this has happened, put good alloy on, replaced wishbone on that corner as well as top suspension strut bush and bearing. and the tracking has been done with laser technology-ooohhhhh. Still the pull though, and not the type of pulling I'd like to be doing in my Puma. Does anybody know what might be the likely cause of this pulling to the left?
Many thanks, Mat.
