Mk2 escort: Bought as a tired ex-hire car by my dad and trashed daily by him for some 25 odd years. It's been in a number of accidents as well, on one occasion having to convince the insurance not to write it off. It was then passed to me as my first car and was restored on a budget when I was at university. I used it daily for 4 years, learning how to go sideways on wet roundabouts and all sorts of tricks. What a car, never missed a beat and never needed anything!! It now sits in the garage waiting for some proper restoration when I have the time and money. It's still taxed and insured so every now and then I still go for a spin...

All gorgeous - especially that mk1 escort.

Nice collection you have 8) The climate is a lot better for old Fords over there by the looks of things!

I think most typical people not just women see older cars like that unfortunately.

MMMmmm...
I would literally kill for an Escort Mk2 that looks that good.

When I bought my Milly, I bought it off my brother who fell in love with another yellow Ford he found at a random second hand car dealer near Chichester.

He loves it, and has never looked back, but his driving style is more cruising than hammering it down country roads, so he never felt like he got the most out of the Puma.
He has spent thousands on it, since that pic was taken he has lowered it and put an uprated diff on it, and, frustratingly stuck a top notch LPG system on it so he gets further for £10 than I do in the Puma. Grrr...
