Missing bolt help - big oil leak

Thanks, it appears to be the only part of the engine that isn’t shown!

Missing bolt help - big oil leak

Hi, I had a ‘failure to proceed’ as some describe it last week where the car lost most of its oil… I think I have identified that the bolt that should act as the blank for use when using the locking tool(?) for the bottom pulley up behind the driveshaft bracket has come out. It’s the hole 90’...

    Bad misfire after exhaust change!

Don't think its anything blocking the pipe - seems to rev up ok when it decides it will do without back firing... Is there an easy way to try the two lambda sensors - like disconnecting one/both or one then the other and seeing if it runs any better without them and just having the engine...

    Bad misfire after exhaust change!

Yep got the digi dash - saying none under DTC  Just changed the plugs as leads as had some I was going to do at some point and then tried disconnecting the battery again but still the same problem after reconnecting - so much for going anywhere over the next few days until places...

    Bad misfire after exhaust change!

Yeah def got two - blue and green connectors - all seem in place and look as did before the exhaust was changed... Just reconnected and let it idle for a couple of mins but still very lumpy!

    Bad misfire after exhaust change!

Thanks just trying the battery thing. Just as I managed to limp it home the Eng Man light came on then started flashing - is the lambda likely to do that or could it be something unrelated and just coincidence?

    Bad misfire after exhaust change!

Just had a Jetex system put on this morning (middle and rear sections) and just picked car up - all seemed fine until about 5 miles in and now it's misfiring/backfiring and feels like it's running on 3 cylinders... Car was fine before the exhaust - can something have been dislodged or...

    MOT, Service & Evans Halshaw

yeah did consider making a fuss but it did need a service and they seem to have done a reasonable job (looking at service book not had oil change since Dec 09 before I got it earlier this year) - couldn't really be bothered with the hassle either this time. Won't be taking it back through...

    MOT, Service & Evans Halshaw

So I think I made a mistake by the offer of extra Nectar Card points if you had a service and MOT done by your local Ford dealer.... Just been to collect my Puma after dropping off this morning at Evans Halshaw in Lincoln after looking at a few of the other local garages and deciding their...

    Garage recommendation in Lincoln...

I've had a look through the list of garages but nothing closer to Lincoln than Hull, Leicester or Hull and don't really want to have to 'kill' a day wandering round one of those waiting for the car. Does anyone know any garages in or near Lincoln to recommend (either that or Skegness/Spilsby as...

Was really nice to meet everyone yesterday and apologies to those we didn't say good bye too before going - had to be back to get up for work at 7 this morning  I've put some of my photos up from yesterday on my website (http://citrusblossom.co.uk/My_Pictures/Pages/Ford_Fair_2011.html)...

    Ford Fair 2011 Chat Thread

Stupid weather changing - had to visit parents today up a lane that a tractor has been going in and out of the field next door = lovely clean car now covered in road spray and rather smelly muddy stuff underneath! Hope it does dry up for Sunday :teary:

    Dash 'resetting' on startup

Finally got my Puma taxed and back on the road today after being SORN since March but it appears to have developed an oddity... Every couple of times you start the car the dash seems to reset (needles going all the way round and trip resetting to zero etc) but doesn't do it every time, battery...
