Said a final goodbye to Ollie at the vets last night.
His last blood test had confirmed that his kidneys had all but stopped working and that he must have been in quite a bit of pain because of it. He'd lost loads of weight recently and control of his bladder.
The kindest thing to do was to let him go. Bye bye Ollie. x

Was a handsome chap:

Had some weird sleeping positions:

Last photo I have of him:

:( very sad, sorry about the loss of your fur-baby. I always give mine extra cuddles when I see sad news like this. It's such a huge commitment taking on an animal, knowing how much shorter their natural lives are than our own. Some people don't don't understand how powerful the bond is with our furry counterparts.

gorgeous looking we cat, so sorry to hear you have lost him, deciding to let them go has to be one of the hardest things to do.

Love the photo's

Had to make the same decision with my pooch last year. She had 14 good years with us and, like you I had to make the call.

He's one handsome feline and I'm sure you will never forget. Thoughts with you Dal, I feel your pain :-(

Rob.
