Im after a favour from someone.

Can someone get a blob of bluetack/plasticine/foam or similar and squish it between the top of the idle speed control valve at highest point and the bonnet.

With my supercharger conversion I need to fit a take off to feed air to the idle control valve. So Im raising up the idle control valve using a adaptor from a KA that allows me to fit a take off so i dont have to modify an original inlet. However it raises the idle control valve about 40mm.

Without a fitted engine yet, I'm after the measurement so i know it will fit.

Any help would be appreciated!!

That's very nice of you Emma but I think he needs it doing by someone with an FRP or at least an FRP inlet manifold fitted.

I may be wrong though and am completely prepared to bury my head under a rock or pile of steaming manure if I am :-D
