Hi everyone!
My name is Giuseppe, and I'm from Sicily. I'm a 26 years old student, and I bought my panther black 1.7 ford puma in 2008. through these years, I developed my ford puma to be the Italian fastest "road legal" puma, and I think nowadays I did it. I joined this community to share the passion for this lovely tiny fun car, after reading for years some of your threads with great developments and projects.

I hope you'll give me a warm welcome and you will also forgive me for my terrible English :p

Hi, welcome along, I only spotted one puma when I was over in Italy a couple of months ago! it was black, wasn't yours was it! :lol:

@slayllian: thanks! :D i'm afraid it wasn't me if you weren't in Sicily :p especially if it was stock: i designed both the front and rear bumpers of my puma. here's an idea:

lol, thanks! :D i have some ideas for my next body-style already :D is there a section in which i can describe my puma in detail? or is it fine if i keep writing here in my presentation topic?
 
Very tallented and lovely looking Puma you have there. The diffuser you created is rather nice, had that been a off the shelf product then i would consider getting one.

What's under the bonnet or are all the transformations cosmetic?
 
under the bonnet I have forged pistons (custom made), reinforced block (custom made), good camshaft (newman) with different timing set, full stainless steel exhaust (4-in-1 manifold), enlightened flywheel (custom made), bigger throttle body (flushed and gasflowed coming from an Escort 2.0), standalone ECU (DIMsport), polished and ported head (custom made), 11.9:1 compression ratio, adjustable fuel pressure regulator (malpassi), stage 2 clutch, and lots of electronic conversions about sending units and other stuff and some other things that I'm surely forgetting. I've been developing it for something like 5 years, under both performance/handling and cosmetic profile. I also have got Koni adjustable suspensions with H&R springs (-35mm) and 20mm spacers in the back, and EBC brakes (both rotors and pads). There surely is something else I'm forgetting :)
 
thank you! I really appreciate! I wish I was somewhere else, since here the laws are very restrictive (we can't even change tyre size). I might happen to be in London this summer (after 8 years :) ), before going to the States :)
