Thanks, your exactly right the wheels are et37 and standard are et25 so I need a 12mm spacer all round.
I've just ordered 15mm spacers so will look better :)

Very nice wheels Mr G, i know personally that the gold wheels some how work on the FRP!

Different style of wheel, but close colour!

Cheers mate yes I think there awesome, I've put my spacers on today and looks a lot better but don't have any pics. Just need to lower mine a bit on coil overs like yours :)
Some nice pics with brothers concourse sapphire

To be honest, i think it looks good as it is, it will look better a bit lower, but it looks well smart on them pics, the wheels really suit it! I think you have to be really careful with cars like that, because you can ruin the look with the wrong wheels. Whats next now??

Cheers, i really like them and love the look off the car now. Not gonna go mad with lowering it but just a little, the main reason for coilovers is for different spring rates something around 350lb front 200lb rear what do you run?

Next up is recover the bank balance a little after the last couple of weeks lol, some ultralite black wheel nuts then coilovers which will be soonish. My brother speeks to a lad that works at gaz and gets a fair chunk of dicount and also said if i send a set of shocks down he would make custom ones for the frp at no extra cost, failing that i just have to make a sleeve like you did :)

Then start on the engine i think im going to break the build down in stages like get a complete top end built first otherwise its too big of a lump of money to build all at onece. Im just looking forward to hearing it on the dyno :)

Gaz already make a set for the FRP! Jacko told me, i think he might have them on his puma, or at least was thinking of getting them. Ive got 400lbs on the front of mine, and standard puma gaz springs on the back. I cant remember what the standard spring rate is on the gaz coilovers, i think around 300lbs, but the 400lbs made a hell of a difference when i fitted them, felt a lot more planted and contrallable, but it might be because my engine and turbo setup is a bit heavier then the standard.

Oh right i was told today that they would make my set for no extra cost as they then have the patterns to make more sets. Dodgy.

They sound fairly high i had 275 and 180 on my escort and was a little too soft but could control it nicely on the damping.
There only 40/50 pounds pair so might do a bit of trial and error spring setups as i will run slicks for track use eventually.

Well i thought 400 was a bit much, i was after 350 as thats what they use on the focus with my engine in and it seems to be highly rated. But then the mazda with my set up and a turbo uses 400s. Then a set of 400s came up really cheap, so i though id give them a shot for the money, and they were really good. If a set of 350s comes up ill try them and make my mind up which is best.

Yer i think trial and error is the way forward.
Is there a set amount you would reccomend lowering an frp i think i spoke to you before and they dont really like being lowered very much, i dont really want it too catch round corners

I lowered mine as far as it would go on the standard springs and 215/40/17 tyres and it would catch very slightly on the inner arch on hard cornering. I put 18s on and the front and back would catch on slightly enthusiastic cornering. But then if my engine is heavier then yours, id just say trial and error again, one of the joys of having height adjustable, aswell as being able to jack the front up so it will go onto the back of a tow truck, a feature ive found VERY useful lol!!

That's a fantastic looking FRP mate. I agree with everyone else, the wheels look spot on!
Also a nice collection of Cossies.
I will be following the engine build with interest.

Thanks alot mate
Yer cossies is about all we do lol
Engine build is on hold due to funds for a couple of months unfortunately

Tiny update, fitted my seat covers i got for christmas.
And was very bored at work today so for some reason i decided to make a gearknob on the lauve which didnt turn out to bad. I made it higher as i think they sit too low standard and its being anodised black, either that or its going in the bin still not sure on it :?
