Haha you should have seen my drawing i started with, a little less than capable lol
Your half right, its the same design as an elite sequential dogbox that weve put in an escort cossie :) but i added the knurled rings around it

Stripped the donor engine yesterday which was absolutely mint it had only done 40k miles a shame to split it up really, the bores were measured and have half a thou difference in wear between the top too bottom of the bore and almost 1 thou of ovality which is about the tolerences of them when there new so im very happy i dont need to put a set of liners in it :)

So will be ordering the shells rods and pistons etc in the next few weeks along with skimming the head and facing the block too up the compression ration to around 12.5:1 then have cams already so just gotta sort double valve springs, get the head to nick waples to work his magic and sort inlet which im struggling with at the minute so its all coming together now. We worked out that the biggest evolution s1600 barrels were the same as a 41.7mm tube so thats around the equivalant to a 44mm throttle body so am trying to sort either a set of 45's or 44mm barrels as they need to be bigger than what the s1600's ran.

I have a donor frp box which will be getting a lsd and new bearings then will all be built to the new engine so one lump out and the other in, thats the plan over the next several months :) unfortunately these builds are very pricey lol

So that job offer... to sit around and what your projects for £45,000pa... Is eh... that still on the table?

If you could re-phrase that in english that would be amazing mac but if your volunteering to wire drill the block for me then yes you can as my hands are about to drop off lol

Looking good dude! cant wait to see the finished article, i saw the Focus you you were on about at brunters... and a very nice Escos!

is the Focus the one thats been running in Time Attack, got a BTCC spec front front bumper??

Cheers mate yer it will be a screamer when its done :)

Yes the escort was rwd 380bhp
The focus has a modified btcc bodykit well spotted mate it was only on super unleaded on the day so around 720bhp he hopes to do well in time attack this year

thats some power is that, saw it pounding round the track, looked and sounded so fast, thought the escos had more power than that.. still looks a serious bit of kit

Being rear wheel drive over 4 makes them so much faster its unreal we have converted a few now to 2wd
Were doing a 670bhp rear wheel drive escos at the minute thats gonna be insane and its a road car, nutter lol

Heads with nick waples as we speak having bigger inserts for bigger valves and being ported, crank is being sent off to be knife edged then balanced and shells pistons rods etc will be ordered soon its all coming together a lot quicker then expected :) still struggling with inlet at the minute though

Good work mate. It's coming along.
Sorry if I've missed this somewhere else on the forum but what garage do you work at? I know a few people with Cossies, I want to know where to point them!

Thanks mate, supreme car services or if you mention the old chap Harvey Gibbs they will probably recognise the name
