enough to do side and rear 1/4 windows

Just a thought....

Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not 100% but doesn't this get fixed to the door frames so that you then have no windows that open?....and with that in mind, has anyone done an exact replacement of the glass - size wise - in Lexicon....in that the windows will still work.?

Not as weight saving but would retain fully working windows - or at least the drivers side one. :!:

Would be something I'd try before deciding to fix them permanently.

refurbed my jigsaw ready for the lexan sheets

state of it before

i couldnt be doing with not having opening front windows, even sliders wouldnt be enough, ive been out in cars in the middle of summer with window sliders and there useless...best thing to do is fit NACA ducts to the rear windows then have neoprene hose from that to between the front seats, thats works alot better!

ye hthats true, but nah not for me, black cars in the summer are horrible, especially with an all black interior....pure sweat box!

So started doing my front windows

took the screws out the glass clamp in the door

removed the lower weather strip

P1070018.JPG

tilted glass forward and lifted out

P1070019.JPG

offered the glass up to the lexan and clamped into place

P1070021.JPG

wasnt sure wether best to draw the outline and cut the outline or leave the glass on and use that as a guide also. Ended up leaving the glass on

cutting around the outside
