I’m staring up at the crank and I’ve got original big end bearing sets from way back when it was clear parts were going to dry up.
Does anyone have bad news stories about reshelling the 1.7 big ends?
She’s on 105k miles, journals look pristine and doing this to steel cranks has always been acceptable but not best practice.
Any thoughts...?
