Yeah Neil, Thanks again :D

It's actually made a massive difference having no air leaks. Much smoother at slow speeds and I *think* it's sorted the vibration i'd started getting back through the peddle :yay:

The vibration through the pedal is the throttle cable (I think). It was a dealer fix, - basically a plastic shield to prevent vibration.

Well a long day today but very well spent having my brakes serviced.

*Full strip and clean
*New Alcon discs
*New brake pads
*New bridge pipe

Hopefully this has cured the droning noise I started getting, so far so good!

Also had my MAF cleaned.

Next on my list

- Clean the steering wheel
- Cure the gritty grating steering issue
- New tyres (front)
- Clean ICV
- FRP air box mod
- Fix passenger seat rattle
- Replace front speakers
- Fix slow passenger window (motor or runner)
- Re-fix door cards properly

Did Chris do your brakes Matt?

That 'to do' list is virtually identical to mine!

Yes Neil, it was Chris and I must commend him for his excellent work, he puts top effort into his work and i'm very happy.

Now I just need to bed them in a couple of times and i'll report back!

Update to-do:

Next on my list

- Clean the steering wheel
- Cure the gritty grating steering issue
- New tyres (all round, low fronts and punctured rear)
- Clean ICV
- FRP air box mod
- Fix passenger seat rattle
- Replace front speakers
- Fix slow passenger window (motor or runner)
- Re-fix door cards properly
- Change Heater Control Valve (heater only cold or HOT, have the part already)
- Fit a boot light, mine only has wires where a light should be.
- Fit glove box light (came with the boot light I bought)

Silcon spray helps on the passenger window runners. I found part of the felt guide from the runner loose in the bottom of the door on mine!

Good thing to check before replacing clips on door card!

Saw your nice shiny brake discs today.

Discs without a lip - mmm fresh!!

@Spike, the window already has silicone all over it lol. Been smearing the window for the last 2 months since application!

I decided to clean my steering wheel...

Wear driving gloves to stop your big sweaty hands ruining it again!

Because at some point someone threw out the original airbox for a cone filter. The owner before me replaced the cone with a standard airbox and it'd be nice to have it back how it was :eek:k:
