Thanks guys, going to add to my Autoglym collection with some of their leather cleaning bits

4-2-1 and exhaust will be fitted when i feel like swearing a bolts and rusty pipes :-D

Carbon fibre sheet with s1600 back plate template for standard inlet pipes

The plenum has no where for the temp sensor or the ICV however after some thinking I have the idea of tapping the plenum 3 times.
One to insert a thread for the temp sensor and 2 to run vac hoses to a plate adapted for the ICV and locate the ICV elsewhere.
I would appreciate some feedback on these ideas as I don't want to upset the ECU too much as I'll only be running a standard one until unless i decide to break the 180 barrier

4-2-1 and exhaust all fitted today. even fashioned myself a milltek bar for my oval back box.
Will add pics tomorrow when it's all clean.

Took her for a quick spin and it sounds great. I have 2 silencers still so it's bearable but when you give it some it's all there with a nice crackle and bang too. Happy days

I'm considering getting some cheap mondeo/escort gti 16" wheels and painting them myself... but what colour..

I've got a set if those but 15"s for sale if you're interested?
I was gonna use them for track wheels but they won't fit over my alcons once I've had them fitted

Oh and check the last few pages of my build thread for different colours of those wheels lol ;)

I saw them :p I'm after 16's due to the big brakes and i dont want to risk 15's and having a stone get stuck and lock my wheel up and kill me :-D

Ahh yea you just fitted 300mm.. Sorry I forgot  doh

I've got a set if 16"s too but you're not having them :p

there's a set on ebay that look okay for a base, the guy will take 80 for them so if they're still there in a week they're mine :D

you didn't realise because i havent took pictures yet :p

New plans as some N/A parts have p*ssed me off

Turbo

I'm only going to run maybe 5psi through the standard internals with an intercooler.
So my shopping list is now:

T25 Turbo
Downpipe to match
Front mount intercooler - found one that's quite thin
Oil cooler
Sandwich plate for oil feed
Air/Fuel regulator
Lots of hoses, pipes and clips
Bonnet Raisers to help cooling

I think that's it, it's probably not but i can't think of anything else right now

Boost controller
Oil Feed pipes and connectors
Oil return pipes and modified sump
Blow off valve
Fuel pressure regulator & adaptor
Consider battery re-location

i'm going to leave the battery where it is. i know it's tight but i'm sure it'll fit.

thanks for adding to my list :eek:k:

Power upgrade has been put on hold as i am rebuilding my other Puma... I may of accidentally said to my girlfriend "i'll build it back up for you, save you buying a car" i did tell her if she crashes it though we are finished :p
any way i decided to do a few things to both and while ordering all the parts for the restoration i put a few sneaky things in the shopping cart for myself MY list is as follows:

Koni shock absorbers all round
Eibach pro kit 30mm drop
Black Diamond brake hoses
Flo Flex bushes all round
New drop links
Cam belt kit & water pump.

What i have to do on the old one.
New ball joints - just bought new wishbones to make it easier
New CV boots
Gearbox
New Clutch
New Cat & lambdas
New discs & pads
New exhaust

I think that's it really. All in a days work...

Anyway i did a couple of bits and bobs:
Fibre glasses a 76mm cold air feed in place

Removed Carpet liners and removed any rust trace then added zinc 182 primer and started to add black hammerite, not quite finished there

Heat wrapped the 4-2-1 (badly) ready for installation until i get everything for the turbo

And the award for the most regular updates and fastest-moving project 2013 goes to... YOU!
