I have just bought some cheap Mondeo (et40 cosworth style) 16'' alloys and doing a 300mm conversion but these will not fit over the callipers. Callipers are mk3 Mondeo and ST170 discs, any ideas what I'm doing wrong before I attack them with the grinder.

Last weekend I changed the oil so i jacked the car up and started it to get the oil warm and noticed the front wheels where spinning, not at a great speed as I could stop them with my hand. Is this normal or could it be the start of a problem, clutch got changed about 1000 miles ago.

Help!! Trying to install lowering springs sorted rears easy but when I've started the fronts the torx is rounded on the inside at the top where you loosen the nut to release the shock. I've tried using grips to hold the shock while trying to loosen the nut on top but still no joy, any help...
