how come your putting matt black stripes on a black car? :?

doesnt seem much point IMO mate

Z- Cause i don't want them to stand out massively, I just want it to be so you look at it, and you can tell there is something there, but you don't know untill you look again and then it stands out- I was thinking of doing them in yellow but i thought it might be overkill / look cack. And its only stickers if they don't work i can just take them off

Mart- Unless you shave the caliper carrier, from what i have read of here?

Well I think its about time we revelaed the plan to whch we are working

So we all agree?

Oh and we still have a fuelling issue- its still running lean so im going to stick some injector cleaner through it see if there is anything wrong there.

Quick update

My Car is more confused then the people in a mental institute

Thanks to hotrodspike we have decided that my car does between 0MPG and 43(ish) MPG

So it goes from good to bad to really really bad to catostrophicly(sp) bad.

But hey how it runs well, it drives well, its doing good on fuel and all is well in the world.

The Jack MAF will be fitted this weekend.

After I have got FITP out of the way i will start to get my brakes refurbed and painted (been quoted about £30 each for this). And find a second inlet manifold and engine cover and a strutbrace for upper front so watch out for some wanted adds.

On the inlet and the engine cover- Local breakers yard wants £55 for the pair of them- does this sound expensive?

And i think there may be a visit to the body shop, spotted some rust bubbles and stone chips, not to mention dints etc.

But first things first- main thing on my rader is the cambelt, the water pump, the iderler pulley, the aux belt and the rocker cover gasket, the leads and the plugs- costed up and its looking like £250 in parts alone i think?

Ok new finding as well- Car has 4 buckled wheels, Hence the wheel wobble when breaking from above 50mph down.

Checked the brake discs all looks good there

Yeah :(

So 4 wheels needed, Although im after a 2nd opion on the brakes- could really do with that being the case- its about £100-£150 for some new wheels :(
